Josh's enthusiasm for physical therapy began as a rehabilitation aide for Rady Children's Hospital, while seeking avenues of healing within the western medical model.  With prior experience in teaching, coaching, sports performance, and massage therapy, Joshua blended these passions into his practice of physical therapy in order to promote movement, health, and wellness.

Dr. Briana Ragsdill | PT, DPT

Briana works hard to keep physical therapy fun and functional while tackling the root cause of injury through evidence-based practice. She especially enjoys hip/knee/ankle pain and sports rehabilitation. Outside of PT, Briana is a proud pilot wife and mom of two. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, being outdoors, running half marathons, and eating ice cream.

Briana was born and raised in small town Wisconsin. She remained in the Midwest to earn her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Iowa State University. Briana went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota.

She didn’t know it then, but as a 16-year-old injured runner, Briana’s countless hours of physical therapy would ultimately lead to her career decision. She has been a multisport athlete from a young age, with primary involvement in gymnastics, dance, and running. She finds joy in the success of all her patients, but will always have a soft spot for young athletes.

After meeting her now husband during a clinical affiliation in Texas, she joined the pediatric physical therapy team at Texas Children’s Hospital. She gained experience treating a wide range of neurodevelopmental disorders and pediatric orthopedic conditions. Her family relocated to Colorado in 2023 and she decided to shift her focus to the orthopedic population.

Jenny Roddam | Operations Lead

In her personal life, Jenny is a proud mom to two senior rescue dogs, and is the proudest auntie to many nephews and nieces. In her free time, she spends as much time with her loved ones as possible, also balancing time gardening, baking, singing, crafting, and focusing on her mental health. She is also an avid follower of the major Colorado teams (Go Broncos, Avs, and Nuggets! Sorry Rockies..).

Years ago, Jenny came to Refuge as a patient. Since then, she has been a huge supporter of Refuge's work and philosophy and is thrilled to be a part of the team now! Her passion lies in helping others and bringing positivity to their lives, especially through the joy of sports, exercise, and health (both mental and physical).

Jenny was born and raised in Monument, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Physical Education and a minor in Music. After working in education for many years, she ultimately made the decision to switch to administrative work and realized that many businesses needed positive forces behind them. This drove her decision to go back to UNC and get a Master's Degree in Sport Administration, graduating magna cum laude.

As a lover of all things sports, Jenny grew up playing many sports, but loving tennis. She played club tennis at UNC, and helped the team go to nationals in 2014. She coached tennis for many years and still enjoys playing, amongst other racquet sports. She also enjoys yoga, skiing, hiking, and hitting the gym.

She met her husband and they moved to Johnstown to raise their family. They have a boy and two girls. When they aren't at kids sporting events, they’re out hiking, camping, boating, or snowboarding.
